After 10 1/2 years of marriage later in life, our life together just gets better. Days and moments are cherished for their adventure, challenges and fun that develop. What are your favorite moments together? Sometimes for us, it’s doing nothing and other times it is having stimulating conversations about the world around us. Then there are those times when sharing one’s inner most thoughts or feelings, about something that we both disagree with at the beginning of our conversation, brings us even closer. These moments may not always be the easiest to share, especially when we are both coming from different view points. However, what I have learned most from my later in life marriage as opposed to my first marriage many years ago, is that  I am more willing to take a chance with opening myself up to my failings, strong opinions than ever before. To know when to bring a subject up to Big Daddy and when not to at that particular moment has been instinctive . To choose my battles carefully and open my heart to be loved. These moments always bring us closer as a couple.
